This was a design exercise in the third year of architecture. The idea behind the design was to create a design that enables people to connect and coexist. In a fast evolving world, wherein space is shrinking and people are becoming introverts, the scenario of the old 'Mohallas' or colonies in villages and small town a given a modern tinge. These apartments have common gathering spaces which promote community gatherings. A giant fire staircase on the main facade becomes the identity of the entire design. It has been designed to encourage people to hit the stairs and stay fit and healthy.
