For the past couple of months, Facebook has gradually turned into a platform wherein people keep piling up soo much of negativity, violent thoughts, meaningless arguments, hate speeches. It has become a place where people offload soo much of their violent thoughts.
Every time I visit my facebook news feed, there's always one or the other post that is loaded with hatred or communalism. And its not some street side vendor that is posting this shit. But most of the intellectuals, the educated ones that support one senseless argument in support of another. Facebook was intended to be simple, it was supposed to connect people. However, all I see around is people being divided over opinions.
And on the other hand, there's youtube, wherein I find people around the world doing insanely amazing things, the explorers, the self made creators, the fundamentalists, the entrepreneurs, people with a vision, people with ideas to change the world as we know it.
The media as we know it, is all around us. And it affects us in more ways than we acknowledge. Thus, we need to use it wisely, need to be sensitive to the fact that my opinion may not match with most of the people. So putting it out on a platform as this is pointless and often dividing.
